For more than 100 years, musical theatre has tugged at the heart-strings and lifted the spirits of millions of people from the very young to the very old. From its roots in operetta and its journey through Vaudeville via Tin Pan Alley, to the glittering walk along Broadway, popular musicals have gifted us with songs for every emotion.

Our 24 Piece 'Adelaide Art Orchestra' and 4 Broadway Singers performed a wonderful array of hits from the Golden Era of Broadway through to modern day pieces, including:-

  • South Pacific
  • Oh What a Beautiful Morning - Oklahoma
  • This is The Moment - Jekyll & Hyde
  • Bring Him Home - Les Miserables
  • Tonight - West Side Story
  • Seasons of Love - Rent
  • For Good - Wicked
  • Phantom of the Opera Medley

    + More

At intermission, guests were treated to a serviced Bar allowing them to enjoy a sparkling wine, beer or softie as they soaked in the ambiance of Adelaide University's Elder Conservatorium of Music - Elder Hall.
