Each year in late November, our Club is engaged by Adelaide's famous West End Brewery to help them over 3 consecutive nights to cater for large Christmas parties they hold.

The nights coincide with the commencement of the Brewery's Christmas celebrations on the banks of the River Torrens opposite the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Their parties see Father Christmas lead a group of guests down to the Riverbank display, to have the ceremonial 'flicking of the switch' to light up the riverbank for all of Adelaide to see. A tradition for thousands of Adelaide families to visit every year.

The functions we cater allow the West End staff to take a break and enjoy Christmas with their guests.

One night supports a local Adelaide Charity, often one that supports children, to add some cheer to families doing it tough, supported by that charity.

The second night is usually West End's own staff Christmas party.

With the third being an invitation to many of their clients and their families to thank them for supporting the brewery throughout the year.

For Rotary Adelaide Central, these are wonderful teamwork functions, often feeding up to 300 / 400 people in one night. Great fun and camaraderie. Not to mention a good fundraiser for our Club as the Brewery offers a donation to our Club to help them out.
