Marie Dorrington
A member of the Rotary Club of Adelaide West since 1997 when she became a member in response to the involvement of the club in supporting St Mary’s College, where she was Principal, Marie Dorrington was President of the Club (2001-2002) and has enjoyed being involved in a range of activities within it.
At District level, Marie has been involved as Chair of the Group Study Exchange Committee for two years, District Secretary (2008-09), Assistant Governor Group 1 (2009-10 and 2010-11), Host Counsellor for an Ambassadorial Scholar from Japan (2009/10), is a Club Visioning Facilitator, and District Governor 2012-13. During this time, She and Ken enjoyed the opportunity to work together towards the theme for that year Peace Through Service.
Marie and Ken have two children and three grandchildren, with whom they love spending time.
Through her involvement in Rotary International, Marie is committed to working towards a peaceful, sustainable and productive society for all.
