John Madigan OAM

John Madigan retired as an Investment Advisor/Stock Broker from Macquarie Financial Services in 2005. He is married to Kay with two adult children, Catherine and Thomas who is married to Sarah with one grandchild Abigail.
He joined Adelaide West in 1984 and has been President in 1987/88 and 2006/07, 2007/08. Has been a Board Member for over 30 years and currently puts much effort into coordinating and preparing our Club's fortnightly Bulletin as Editor.
John has been heavily involved in the recent restructure of Adelaide West Club seeing membership involvement grow from 22 in 2009 to 45 by end 2012. An outstanding effort and testament to John's magnificent insight and friendly, welcoming nature.
Both Kay and John have been awarded Paul Harris Fellows and in addition John has been awarded two Sapphire Pins for service to the club.
He was also awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 2002 for Service to Rotary Group Study Exchange which he was District Chair for six years and for Service to Guide Dogs Australia Serving as President in South Australia and also National President.
We mentioned earlier our BULLETIN. Without John's tireless efforts every single fortnight you would not see a Bulletin of such magnificent quality as you see today.
